![]() Hello all and welcome to the very, very, VERY late weekly wrap-up for the week ending 8/10/17! I think I have learned my lesson in making promises when there are so many things happening in my life. I apologise again for the lack of content but so much occurred this week that took my attention elsewhere. A combination of being busy writing and editing assignments... and then also preparing for other major assignments coming up while also preparing for an awesome opportunity and THEN getting really sick with a bad cold... let's just say it's been a whirlwind of a week. This will probably be the case for the next couple of weeks as well while I'm sorting out a few extra things that I didn't comprehend I'd ever have the opportunity of doing at the beginning of this year. What am I writing about? Well, I don't want to go into it too much but what I am willing to convey to all of you is that all of my hard work in both my studying and work life have recently presented me with an awesome opportunity to use and showcase my skills. It has been hard to portray my excitement since I have been sick but I am on the mend as we speak! Anyway, I don't want to make any promises about content in case more unexpected events and happenings pop up during the weeks. However, I will try and be more consistent again (famous last words, am I right?). Anyway, let's get into this wrap-up! ![]() Reviews ... I don't want to write about this! I feel so bad for not being able to keep my promise at the beginning of the week. I swear (swearing is different that promising) that the review for The Two Towers by J R R Tolkien will be out soon. Blog I didn't have any plans, so I at least didn't fail on this part! Currently reading YES, I am STILL reading The Lord of the Rings by J R R Tolkien. I am going to find some time this week to sit down for a couple of hours and finally finish it! What's next? One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey. Achievements of the week Both assignments were complete, hurrah! If I had to give this week an achievement percentage, I'd say 65%. Why? Well, I did the assignments but I didn't do the one review I planned. However, I did get the good news regarding the cool opportunity that I don't want to write too much about... so maybe I can push it up to 80%. And that's it for this week. Again, I apologise. I'll stop making promises about content because I don't want to get people's hopes up and then disappoint. As much as I plan everything in my diary in advance, I can't help when unexpected events pop up that I need to focus all my energy on. However, don't forget to ignite the story!
