Hello all and welcome to the update for the week beginning 24/9/18 (although it’s a day late, so, really, it’s 25/9/18)!
It has been a very busy couple of weeks out in the working and studying world where I live away from TaleInferno. However, I am doing my best to keep on top of everything and to ensure that I’m putting up at least one post that isn’t just this weekly update!
As you can imagine, and hence why this update is a day late, it has made me a bit run down. Becoming sick is never a fun experience, particularly when you know it’s because you’re pushing yourself a bit too hard. Nonetheless, I already know that I’m going to look back on this year and be proud of what I have been able to achieve.
… That’s assuming I get everything done and it all goes to plan!
Anyway, let’s get right into this update since we are already a day late!
No news for this week. However, an update on the video game reviews: I have all the bits and pieces I need, just not a supportive internet. I will try and get the first video out as soon as I can!
Hello all and welcome to the update for the week beginning 17/9/18!
There is so much happening at the moment and I am exhilarated by all of it! University is drawing to a close, which means more content on the horizon, and I'm honestly so excited about it all! I can't thank all of you enough for all the support so far. Storytelling is at the heart of everything that I do and to be able to share that love with you is so awesome.
Anyway, this update is a long one so let's get cracking!
With some adjustments done in my study, I can now start to record these video game story reviews! I’m super excited about getting this started. As I have said before and will continue to say, video games are fantastic platforms for storytelling and there are many out there that use some fantastic techniques to immerse us into them.
So, send me your video game requests! I want to jump in as many stories as I can. At this point in time, I am limited to Xbox 360 and Xbox One. However, I am working towards other platforms.
Hello all and welcome to the update for the week beginning 10/9/18!
Can anyone else believe that we're nearly halfway through September? Where has this year gone? Whenever I think of September, I always think it's the home stretch to the end of the year. It's the month that I'm always shocked to be in. Anyone else feel the same way? Just me?
Speaking of home stretches, I'm now more than halfway through my final semester of university! I'm super excited but also a little bit overwhelmed by it all. I cannot wait to have more time to put into TaleInferno and to post up the constant content I have dreamed of doing for a while now!
Anyway, let's get into this update.
This weekend, I should finally be setting up all I need to start these video game story reviews! I am very excited about taking this next step in the TaleInferno journey and I hope you are too! If all goes well, we should start seeing the content out sooner rather than later… but that's if it all goes to plan. This website will have to change a little bit to accommodate these changes, so keep an eye out for that!
Also, as I mentioned before, I’m more than halfway through my final semester of university. So, if content becomes a little bit sporadic, it is because I am trying to keep on top of all my final assignments. Nonetheless, once I am all done, content will begin to become a lot more consistent. We’re nearly there!
Hello all and welcome to the update for the week beginning 3/9/18!
What did you think of the August wrap-up last week? I had an absolute blast making that video. It’s also a good example of the technical difficulties I tend to experience more often than not! Nonetheless, the video came out on Saturday morning (it was Friday somewhere, I’m sure of it), so you all got the vlog content that I promised.
I don’t know if you have noticed but I am very excited about everything that’s happening on TaleInferno and how we’re progressing. There are things that can always be improved, but I am very happy with how we’re tracking along. Content is a little more consistent than before and will continue to increase as we head into the latter part of the year.
Anyway, enough blabbering, time to get into this update!
On the video game front, I’m still organising some of the bits and pieces I need to start putting that together. However, as we wait for that to get sorted, make sure you let me know what games you want me to play to ignite the story!
Also, not only are we jumping into video game stories but we’re going to be getting into some ‘Choose your own adventure’ books in future videos. So, if you haven’t had your dose of storytelling and igniting the story, you’ll get more chances to do that in future!
