30/10/2017 0 Comments Weekly update #10 (30/10/17)Hello all and welcome to the update for the week 30/10/17! As you may have noticed, there was no weekly wrap-up for last week. Starting a full-time job while also working weekends and having to complete final assignments in between all of that, I've had to do some prioritising. Unfortunately, I haven't had to opportunity to get on here and do as I like. However, for some good news, I did submit the last assignment for one subject today, so my time is slowly freeing itself up again. That means I'll be getting back on top of this. Until then, it's going to be very slow. Please bear with me. I am trying and I absolutely love this website, so when I do get that extra time back I'll be putting content up more frequently. Tomorrow is Halloween and I've been seeing some awesome costumes already. I am always so amazed by the talent that people have when it comes to costume designing. One skill I most certainly don't have is the ability to craft but I would love to learn it! Maybe one day when I have some free time (aka. when I'm retired, probably!) I'll take the time to learn how to make costumes. It would be awesome to dress up as some of my favourite characters from the books I have read. We'll have to wait and see if that is something I will ever be able to do! Anyway, let's get into this update!

23/10/2017 0 Comments Weekly update #9 (23/10/17)Hello all and welcome to the update for the week starting 23/10/17! This week begins the first step of me showing off the skills I have studied hard to acquire. It's very exciting to be put in a working position that revolves around my love for writing, editing and communication. I always love being challenged with tasks that push me to work harder since pressure tends to lead me to producing good work. Nonetheless, I want to reiterate from the last weekly wrap-up that although I will be working very hard away from TaleInferno, I will still put a lot of effort into it with any spare moment I have. On another note, I had a moment today where I thought about how weird life can be. I don't mean it in a bad way either. I never thought I would be presented with such an awesome opportunity and I'm so glad to went for it. Life is weird because one day I was worried and stressed about my future and the next I'm sitting at a work desk gaining invaluable experience. I'd definitely recommend taking a risk from time to time, particularly when opportunities like this pop up because you never know where it's going to lead you. Anyway, I'll stop trying to be inspirational. Let's get into this update! 21/10/2017 0 Comments Weekly wrap-up #8 (21/10/17)Hello all and welcome to the wrap-up for the week ending 21/10/17! Yes, another delayed wrap-up and another week without any other posts. I do apologise but this week, just like the others before, has been a serious whirlwind. The next couple of months are also going to be quite busy but I will still be putting as much attention as possible to this website. I'm still planning some fun content for Christmas, so don't be afraid to make any suggestions! Anyway, you might be wondering 'why are the next couple of months going to be busy?' Well, I've finally levelled up into an adult and have found myself in a job that relates to what I have been studying at university the past three years. It's very exciting and I can't wait to put my skills into practice. The experience will be invaluable and will be the beginning of more extraordinary opportunities (hopefully!). Anyway, let's get into this wrap-up! 16/10/2017 0 Comments Weekly update #8 (16/10/17)Hello all and welcome to the update for the week starting 16/10/17! Similar to last week, this update is going to be a short one as I don't have much to write about. Nothing significant is happening this week as my primary focus will be on university and work as there is a lot happening in both those fields in my life at the moment. Don't worry, I will still be putting content on here and all those exciting things I keep mentioning that I have planned will happen in time! In other news, today was super warm, which hints to the summer weather being right around the corner. My motivation levels are increasing the more the sun is out and so is my excitement and anticipation. I have also witnessed a LOT of Christmas decorations around in stores already and it has only dawned on me how close it is! I am currently planning some fun, Christmas-themed content for TaleInferno, so if you have any suggestions for me to do something in particular, let me know! The jolly season is always a lot of fun, so I'm open to ideas! Anyway, let's get into this update. 13/10/2017 0 Comments Weekly wrap-up #7 (13/10/17)Hello all and welcome to the wrap-up for the week ending 13/10/17! You might have already noticed but if you haven't, I finally posted the review for The Two Towers by J R R Tolkien. It's very exciting since I was afraid I wasn't going to find the time to do it this week again and have to push it to yet ANOTHER week. However, I had some time to sit down and do it, and all of you get two posts in one day! How exciting for everyone! Other than this, the week has been busy with filming and doing more studying. Away from the blog, the weather has been gorgeous with the temperature heating up and becoming more consistent. This has improved my motivation by the bucket load... if motivation could be measured in buckets, and trust me if it could there would be a LOT of filled buckets. This is awesome because things are probably about to get pretty hectic around here very soon so make sure to keep checking up on these updates and wrap-ups to read more about it! Anyway, on to the rest of the wrap-up! 9/10/2017 0 Comments Weekly update #7 (9/10/17)Hello all and welcome to the update for the week starting 9/10/17! This is going to be a short update as I don't have a lot to cover this week. I've kept the plans quite loose since I have a feeling this week is going to be quite similar to the last with the possibility of a LOT of unexpected but important things popping up here, there and everywhere. I will try my best to have more than just the weekly update and wrap-up as my content this week but we'll see what eventuates over time. We're getting to the last weeks of university, so all the final assignments are right around the corner. I'm feeling quite confident since my organisation level seems to be increasing every day as each continues to demand more and more structure and planning. This is not a bad thing as I slowly level up to become a fully-fledged adult and I'm sure future me will be very thankful for it. Anyway, enough of me rambling to fill space. Let's get into this weekly update! Hello all and welcome to the very, very, VERY late weekly wrap-up for the week ending 8/10/17! I think I have learned my lesson in making promises when there are so many things happening in my life. I apologise again for the lack of content but so much occurred this week that took my attention elsewhere. A combination of being busy writing and editing assignments... and then also preparing for other major assignments coming up while also preparing for an awesome opportunity and THEN getting really sick with a bad cold... let's just say it's been a whirlwind of a week. This will probably be the case for the next couple of weeks as well while I'm sorting out a few extra things that I didn't comprehend I'd ever have the opportunity of doing at the beginning of this year. What am I writing about? Well, I don't want to go into it too much but what I am willing to convey to all of you is that all of my hard work in both my studying and work life have recently presented me with an awesome opportunity to use and showcase my skills. It has been hard to portray my excitement since I have been sick but I am on the mend as we speak! Anyway, I don't want to make any promises about content in case more unexpected events and happenings pop up during the weeks. However, I will try and be more consistent again (famous last words, am I right?). Anyway, let's get into this wrap-up! 3/10/2017 0 Comments Weekly update #6 (2/10/17)Hello all and welcome to the update for the week starting 2/10/17! Due to the public holiday on Monday, this update was delayed until today, so I apologise to anyone who waited for it! Anyway, better late than never as they say. As you might have noticed, last week was a very slow week since I was very busy with a multitude of things. However, since the university break is over I should be able to get back into my groove. It's the beginning of October, daylight savings is over (or has begun, I never remember which is when) and the sun has been shining the past couple of days. The beautiful spring weather is making me feel more motivated than ever and I am so pumped for the next couple of months. Not only am I near the end of my studying for this year but I have so many plans for future content as the year rolls out, so as we move into November and December there should be a lot of activity on here as well as social media. Anyway, now that you all know to be excited for the next couple of months, let's get into this weeks update! |
