30/10/2017 0 Comments Weekly update #10 (30/10/17)Hello all and welcome to the update for the week 30/10/17! As you may have noticed, there was no weekly wrap-up for last week. Starting a full-time job while also working weekends and having to complete final assignments in between all of that, I've had to do some prioritising. Unfortunately, I haven't had to opportunity to get on here and do as I like. However, for some good news, I did submit the last assignment for one subject today, so my time is slowly freeing itself up again. That means I'll be getting back on top of this. Until then, it's going to be very slow. Please bear with me. I am trying and I absolutely love this website, so when I do get that extra time back I'll be putting content up more frequently. Tomorrow is Halloween and I've been seeing some awesome costumes already. I am always so amazed by the talent that people have when it comes to costume designing. One skill I most certainly don't have is the ability to craft but I would love to learn it! Maybe one day when I have some free time (aka. when I'm retired, probably!) I'll take the time to learn how to make costumes. It would be awesome to dress up as some of my favourite characters from the books I have read. We'll have to wait and see if that is something I will ever be able to do! Anyway, let's get into this update! Reviews I have mentioned for the last couple of weeks that I would review The Return of the King by J R R Tolkien. It will happen eventually. If I find some time this week, I'll try and have it posted. However, as I mentioned earlier, I am prioritising a few other things away from the website first. It also gives me time to read a few more books to be ready to be reviewed for more frequent content in the future, so that's a positive! Blog Again, nothing planned. Currently reading One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey. What's next? Looking for Alaska by John Green Paper Towns by John Green An Abundance of Katherines by John Green Achievements of the week My main achievement is to submit a final assignment by the end of this week. Also, it would be nice to have more than one post published on this blog, so I'll try and get something else out sometime this week! And that's it for this week. I promise that once I'm done with my final assignments there will be more content put up here. Good things come to those who wait, as they say!
