20/11/2017 0 Comments Weekly update #12 (20/11/17)Hello all and welcome to the update for the week starting 20/11/17! If you read last weeks wrap-up, you would know that my studies are finally over for this year and I am free! Therefore, I can now uphold my promise and post all the content I have wanted to post but have not been able to. I am super excited. It feels very refreshing to be in this position and I have a lot of things ready to roll out, so I hope you're as excited as I am! This week, I also have the announcement that I have been given the opportunity to be at what is called the TV Industry Night at my university. What this means is that one of the assignments I produced for my Television Journalism class was chosen to be watched by some journalists and other very important people who will judge my assignment as well as my peers and give out awards. I was also nominated to be the news bulletin reader for one group. I feel very proud to have achieved this. It's definitely nice to be recognised for the hard work I put into everything I do. Anyway, let's get into the update! Reviews This week, look out for two reviews coming out. That's right, TWO reviews. The first will be on The Return of the King by J R R Tolkien, and the second a whole series review on The Lord of the Rings. They have been long awaited, I know, but good things come to those who wait! Blog As a bit of fun and an insight into my life outside of this blog, I am going to write up a blog post on the TV Industry Night on Wednesday. This will detail what happens and whether or not I win any awards. Make sure to keep an eye out for that! Currently reading Paper Towns by John Green What's next? An Abundance of Katherines by John Green All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven Achievements for the week I mainly want to focus on the blog this week whenever I'm away from work so that I can get back into a rhythm with it. Therefore, my main achievement is to succeed in posting all the content I have outlined above. However, away from the website there are other things I'd like to achieve, like making a good impression and doing well at the TV Industry Night and going to the gym a few times. We shall see how it all goes! And that's it for this week. It's sounds a lot more fun than the previous couple of weeks where nothing was planned at all. So let's get excited and remember to ignite the story!
