23/4/2018 0 Comments Weekly update #27 (23/4/18)Hello all and welcome to the update for the week beginning 23/4/18! It's a little disappointing not to be editing a video for the update to provide to all of you. Don't get me wrong, I love writing blog posts and writing in general, but it's a lot of fun to change it up a little bit from time to time. I am definitely counting down the days till I have an upgraded internet connection and I, hopefully, don't have to sit around for three hours trying to upload a five minute video! The upgrade to my internet will also mean more creative work to be done to some content that I haven't be able to do. So, all in all, there is a lot to look forward to (as I may have said a lot at the beginning of the year... point still stands!). I want to make a disclaimer on the content for the week. You see, I've been a good little organiser this morning and I went through my diary for the next two weeks and planned what my life was going to look like. This included studying time, meetings, dinner with friends and family, a cycling race and so on. So, since I am aware that most of my time is taken up this week, it may be a bit challenging to post a lot this week. However, just as I do every week, I will try my best! I've got a few things planned (as you will see below) as well as something special in the back of my mind for Anzac Day this Wednesday. Enough talk about what I might be doing, let's check out what's actually planned! Reviews The Dead of the Night by John Marsden is planned to go out sometime this week. Keep an eye out! Blog I'm hoping to get the Middleton videos out to all of you at some point this week. So, if that's the case, there will be my Middleton adventure vlog and the next instalment in my Creative writing journey series. If not, I'll be aiming to explore some more linguistic theories. I hope you're ready to have your minds BLOWN! Currently reading Burning for Revenge by John Marsden Yes, I did finish Darkness, Be My Friend and I forgot to put it up on Instagram. Shame on me! Nonetheless, I've nearly finished reading this series, which means all the reviews will be out soon! What's next? The Night is for Hunting The Other Side of Dawn Both are by John Marsden and are in his Tomorrow series. However, I did also promise letting you all know what's happening after I was done with this series. So, drum roll please... After I've finished reading this series, I will be reading The Side of Paradise by F. Scott Fitzgerald. This will be the first of a few books that have been recommended by a range of people. I can't wait to jump into this suggested books, and I can't thank the people who have recommended them enough. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! Achievements for the week I've got a busy week ahead away from the website. This includes tasks to do at work, adult responsibilities (ew) and more. It makes me exhausted just thinking about it. My main achievement is to get it all done and survive the week! In all seriousness, I have a special plan this week that will be a little different to what is normally done on here for Anzac Day on Wednesday. So, if I can get that done and everything else up, then I'd say I'll be a happy lil vegemite (or so they say here in Australia). And that's it! It'll get annoying after a while but I want to say thank you again to everyone for their support. I know life throws curve balls and that means that on the occasion not everything is posted. To know there are people out there supporting TaleInferno during these times is so heart-warming and I'm so grateful. If there are any recommendations of books to read and review or suggestions for website content, let me know on social media (comments or DMs) or leave a comment below. And remember to ignite the story!
