6/8/2018 0 Comments Weekly update #32 (6/8/18)Hello all and welcome to the update for the week beginning 6/8/18! TaleInferno has been receiving quite a few requests to read and review certain books, which is absolutely fantastic. Thank you to everyone who has requested something so far! In other news, things are starting to heat up in other areas of TaleInferno. I hope you’re all excited for some new types of content because I sure am. It’s time to ignite our stories, whether we’re readers, watchers or players of them! Although I can’t specify when these things will be happening, they’ll be happening sooner rather than later. So, keep an eye out on social media because there may be some hints on there over the next couple of weeks! Anyway, that’s enough rambling from me. Let’s get into this update! News You may have already noticed but weekly wrap-ups will no longer be posted. This is due to the content being too similar to the updates, so content was becoming a little too repetitive. Don’t worry, we will still have wrap-ups but they won’t be as frequent. You guessed it, we’re looking at monthly wrap-ups at the end of each month. This will make the content fresh and different to these updates! So, something to look forward too at the end of each month. Reviews We’re jumping straight back into the next instalment of John Marsden’s Tomorrow series. Next on the list is Burning for Revenge, where things (as hinted in the title) start to heat up a little more after the lull in Darkness, Be My Friend. When: Tuesday (if the Internet is nice) Blog/vlog Just like the reviews, we’re jumping straight into the next instalment of ‘What is a…’ featuring the apostrophe! Although, it really should be ‘What is aN…’ because, you know, grammar. When: Wednesday or Thursday No vlogs planned to be published this week, but I do plan on it soon! Currently reading This Side of Paradise by F. Scott Fitzgerald What’s next Reviews The rest of the Tomorrow series is coming up AS WELL AS the whole series review for it. So, if you’re unsure what that looks like, here’s the list:
Then, we’ll start looking at some standalone texts before jumping back into another series! Blog/vlog We’ll keep on going with this ‘What is a…’ series, with more punctuation marks to go through. There are also some linguistic theories on language acquisition that are really interesting to look into from a storytelling perspective, so we’ll be diving into them as well! On top of that, I plan on expanding on some literary theories and some intricacies in writing and storytelling, such as symbols, motifs and specifics in structure. These may be in vlog form or in written form, I am yet to decide! Let me know which one you would prefer. There are some fun vlogs up my sleeve but those are surprises for the next coming weeks! Books to read There have been some people out there sending me requests to read and review some books, so thank you to everyone so far. I can’t wait to jump into all of them and see what they’re all about. Here is what’s coming up next: The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho The Rider by Tim Krabbe There are a lot more on my list that have been requested, so keep an eye out for more reveals in the next couple of weeks. Make sure to let me know if you have any books you want me to read and review and I’ll add them to my list! Also, if you have a book you want me to read but it’s only in eBook format, I will read it! I’m happy to experience all stories in whatever format they come in! And that’s it for this week. I hope you all have a fantastic week and remember to ignite the story!
