13/8/2018 0 Comments Weekly update #33 (13/8/18)Hello all and welcome to the update for the week beginning 13/8/18! As you would have noticed last week, I didn’t post the blog ‘What is an… apostrophe?’ as I had planned to do. For once, this had nothing to do with my eternal Internet struggles! As I have mentioned in a previous update, I can only do what I can and I want to make sure any content I write is to a good standard. I’m so close to finishing my university studies, so before we know it I’ll have that extra time to post every day again! Until then, my priority is to get the studying done so I can graduate, which will occasionally result in a post not going up on here. Don’t worry, that instalment in the ‘What is a…’ series will be up this week! I will endeavour to always have at least one post up that isn’t this weekly update. The TaleInferno social media is now becoming more constant in its updates as well, so make sure to ‘like’ and ‘follow’ those! Anyway, onto the update! News No news or announcements this week. We should have one coming up in the next couple of weeks, so keep an eye out for that! Reviews Due to not posting the blog post last week, I will be focussing on getting that up first. However, if I have time this week, I will post a review on John Marsden’s The Night is for Hunting. We’re nearly getting to the end of this series. Are you excited? When: Thursday or Friday Blog/vlog Due to me not having time to post this last week, I will be posting ‘What is an… apostrophe?’ early this week. So, keep an eye out for it! When: Tuesday or Wednesday Currently reading The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho What’s next? Reviews We’re still getting through the reviews for John Marsden’s Tomorrow series. If you don’t know what’s to come, then here’s the list: The Other Side of Dawn The whole Tomorrow series review And, as you would have seen on Instagram, I finished This Side of Paradise by F. Scott Fitzgerald over the weekend. So, that review is coming up after the rest of the Tomorrow series! Blog/vlog Next up after ‘What is an… apostrophe?’ will be ‘What is a… semicolon?’. Although this punctuation mark gets explained A LOT, people are still confused about how and when they can use a semicolon. They’re not too hard to use once you understand them, so I’m ready to give you some handy tips and tricks! If I’m able to post up any vlogs in the near future, you can expect a vlog announcing that TaleInferno is back in the vlogging world (woo!) as well as one on another linguistic theory. What theory? Well, that’s a surprise! Keep an eye out on social media and on this website to make sure you don’t miss anything! Books to read The Rider by Tim Krabbe A few of you out there have requested some eBooks for me to read, which I am excited to jump into. I can’t wait to see what they are like. So, here is what’s to come: I Can’t Stop Jacking Off by Mr Socially Awkward The Legends of Eve by Anonymous As you can see, I do mean it when I say I will read and review what is requested of me (with some exceptions). So, don’t be shy in asking. I love experiencing all stories, and soon we’ll be jumping into other formats for storytelling. I hope you’re as excited as I am! And that’s it for this week. I hope you all have great weeks and ignite the story!
