2/10/2018 0 Comments Weekly update #40 (1/10/18)Hello all and welcome to the update for the week beginning 1/10/18 (although it is the 2/10/18… have I done this for the second week in a row?)! We’re in October! Where has this year gone? Not only does October mean the beginning of Halloween festivities and preparation for those interested in the spooky season, but it also marks the last couple of weeks until I’m all finished with uni! You can probably tell by the sporadic content recently that things are getting pretty busy in my life that I’m finding it very hard to get content out. My priority at the moment is to get my uni assignments done so that I can get on with my life and get cracking into all the plans I have for TaleInferno. However, that means making some sacrifices until then. Anyway, let’s get into this update! News Due to what I’ve mentioned above, the current situation with content is the update on Monday (or Tuesday, as it has been the last two weeks) and the Vlog on Friday (or Saturday, as it has been the last couple of weeks). I am really trying hard to find time to put out the other content too, but battling with low energy and a progressively worse internet connection makes it very hard to actually get that content to you. So, any other content other than those two mentioned will be a super bonus! Reviews Books As it currently stands, we’re up to the whole series review for the Tomorrow series by John Marsden. I’d really like to get that out soon so I can start jumping into reviews for other books but you’re going to need to wait a little while for that! When: I’d like to try and get it out on Thursday. However, if that does not happen, I will aim for next week Tuesday or Wednesday. Video games You're probably wondering what happened to all the hype around the video game story reviews I mentioned a while ago. Unfortunately, due to me being busy and my internet being the bane of my existence, this has been put on hold for a little bit. Once I get some more free time and my internet situation gets a little better, I’ll be flooding TaleInferno with these videos, so get excited! Blog/vlog I would really like to get ‘What is an… em and en rule?’ out this week since I have been mentioning it a lot for a while. So, finger crossed I can make it happen! When: Wednesday or Thursday Going deeper into these literary theories, this week for Vlog Friday I will be talking about queer theory! It is quite an interesting literary theory, so make sure to keep an eye out for that! When: Friday (or Saturday again if I have internet troubles) Currently reading The Legends of Eve: A Warrior’s Past by Anonymous I am very, very close to finishing this! Hopefully it’ll join the list of reviews coming out soon in next week’s update! What’s next? Reviews This list hasn’t changed the last couple of weeks, but for those who have only just jumped in, here’s what’s coming up: This Side of Paradise by F. Scott Fitzgerald The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho The Rider by Tim Krabbe I Can’t Stop Jacking Off by Mr Socially Awkward Blog/vlog As mentioned previously, on the blog front I’ll be continuing on with the ‘What is a…’ series with a look into the full stop. I wonder what will come after that? On the vlog front, we’ll continue trekking on with these literary theories, diving into ecocriticism. This is a really interesting one (even though they are all interesting), so I hope you’re excited! Books to read Sing You Home by Jodi Picoult The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks I went a little bit crazy at a book sale today and bought a whole bunch of them which I can’t wait to read. So, once I get through these two books I think I’ll jump into them (unless any of you out there have any requests!). And that’s it! Remember to ignite the story and I’ll see you again soon
