Hello all and welcome to the update for the week beginning 19/11/18!
As I write this, I am feeling quite sick, which is not good since I have so much planned this week. Not only do we have content coming out of our ears but there will soon be a whole new website that will soon be launched. Yep, you heard right. Unlike the last change where things were moved around slightly and there was a new logo, this will be a complete change.
So, since this will be such a big change, some things may not work when we transfer over. Be patient, TaleInferno will be back up to its best in no time! Along with it will come other exciting launches, so it’s all happening.
Anyway, let’s get into this update!
First things first, after the hiccup last week, Writing Wednesday will be launched this week! I hope you’re excited because it is going to be a fun, little time for us to sit down and write together.
Then, we’ve got the website redesign coming soon! I’m just doing the final backing up of content and then we’ll be ready to go! I’m really excited about how it’s going to look and I’ll be launching some other things as well, so it’ll be a very fun time!
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho will be reviewed this week. I am very excited about reviewing this one, so make sure to read it when it comes out!
The blog post this week will be a nice casual one, which will cover one of the many things I love about storytelling. What is it? Well, you’ll have to wait and find out!
The first Writing Wednesday unfortunately didn’t come out last week due to technical issues. However, I’m going to try again this week to make sure we can write together!
Then, there will be a vlog announcing the next books that I will be reading for future reviews. It will hopefully be a bit of fun and I can’t wait to show you!
Finally, we’ll have our Vlog Friday. We’re steering away from literary theories for a little bit and we’ll be talking about other parts of writing. So, ‘Let’s talk about symbolism!’ is what you can expect to come out!
The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks
The Rider by Tim Krabbe
I Can’t Stop Jacking Off by Mr Socially Awkward
The Legends of Eve: A Warriors Past by Anonymous
Sing You Home by Jodi Picoult
Blog posts will be a little more casual over the next couple of weeks. I want to take the opportunity to connect to all of you regarding some of the things I love about storytelling. I’m really excited about this because, at the end of the day, we’re all here for the reason that we connect to storytelling in some way, so we might as well talk about it!
For Vlog Friday, we’ll be talking about metaphors! Although closely related to symbolism, it’s worth talking about them separately since they can sometimes be a little tricky.
Books to read
All will be revealed in the video on Thursday!
And that’s it for this week. Remember to ignite the story and I’ll see you again soon!
