10/12/2018 0 Comments Weekly update #47 (10/12/18)Hello all and welcome to the update for the week beginning 10/12/18! I hope you’re ready for another week full of content! I am so happy with how everything is going and I’m grateful for what has been achieved so far. If you didn’t see on social media, we broke another record in the number of views and unique visitors. This journey has had plenty of ups and downs and I can’t thank you all enough for your continuing support. I’m so excited about what’s to come. We are about to start a new chapter, enter the next area or switch to the next episode for TaleInferno, and the story has only just begun. Anyway, let’s get into this update! News As I have mentioned over the last couple of weeks, I have been working on the website redesign. It is very close to being ready. I cannot wait for you all to see it! You may also be wondering about what happened to the video game story reviews I announced a while back. These are still going to happen and are in the pipeline of work after the website is launched. I have everything pretty much ready and set up, there are just some other things (namely my Internet) that I still need to sort out for it to be at its best. Reviews The Legends of Eve: A Warrior’s Past by Anonymous is up for review this week. This is the beginning of a very interesting fantasy series, so if you’re interested in this genre then keep an eye out for this review! When: Tuesday Blog/vlog What are you thinking about the ‘why I love storytelling’ series? I’m very happy with how it’s going along and I can’t wait to share the next instalment. When: Thursday Unlike the last Writing Wednesday, this will have us back inside with a writing challenge. I hope you’re ready to flex your writing muscles! When: Wednesday I’ll be talking about foreshadowing for Vlog Friday. This literary device is a great way to get people guessing about what’s going to happen next in the story, so make sure to check this out. When: Friday Currently reading The Hypnotist by Laurence Anholt What’s next? Reviews Sing You Home by Jodi Picoult The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks Witch Born by Nicholas Bowling Blog/vlog Not much will be changing with blog posts. However, you can expect a post for the ‘creative writing journey’ series in the near future. Following on from this will be some other blog posts to get you educated on some modern-day writing, particularly in the professional space. During this time, we will still continue with the ‘why I love storytelling’ series. Basically, you can expect more content! In the vlog space, we will continue on with Writing Wednesday activities and Vlog Fridays, with point of view (POV) next on the list of things I will be talking about. Books to read The Wolf by Leo Carew Being Shot by Gail Bell The Fifth Room by Allison Rushby (A. J. Rushby) Nothing is Predictable by Adalina Mae The Cobblestone Flowerpot by Troy Drayton That’s it from me. Remember to ignite the story and I’ll see you again soon!
