7/1/2019 0 Comments Weekly update #51 (7/1/19)Hello all and welcome to the update for the week beginning 7/1/19! How was your first week of 2019? Have you continued to stick to your resolutions? Have you started your journey to ignite the story in you? I have listed down quite a number of resolutions and goals this year. One of these is to launch a fantastic new website. Another is to put up new, fresh and interesting content as often as possible. So far, I think I’m keeping to those goals, and in doing so I hope it will help you ignite the story! Anyway, let’s get into this update! News There is a lot happening away from TaleInferno this week. However, I have a plan in place to make sure all content is posted on time. Make sure to stay posted on what’s happening by liking and following TaleInferno on social media! Facebook | Twitter | Instagram | YouTube Reviews Sing You Home by Jodi Picoult will be the first book review for this year! It was definitely an emotional rollercoaster, so make sure to keep an eye out for this. When: Tuesday Blog/vlog We’ve got another challenge this week for Writing Wednesday, so make sure you’re ready! When: Wednesday There are two blog posts this week. One will be the next reason why I love storytelling, and the other is about an interesting news article I read the other day that may inspire my fellow writers (and other storytellers as well!). When: Possibly Tuesday and Thursday Then, for Vlog Friday we will be talking about point of view (POV). I might get a little carried away with this one—but then again, when don’t I? It’s something very interesting to me and can really change the way our stories are told. Make sure to tune in! When: Friday Currently reading The Wolf by Leo Carew I’m very close to finishing this one, so we’ll probably be jumping into Being Shot by Gail Bell later this week. What’s next? Reviews The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks Witch Born by Nicholas Bowling The Hypnotist by Laurence Anholt Blog/vlog After the blog post this week based on the news article, there will soon be a new instalment to the ‘Creative writing journey’ series. On top of that, you can expect more on why I love storytelling. Since the new website is right around the corner, I will also reveal that we have some new additions for series—such as ‘101’ and ‘What is a…?’—coming soon. I’ll keep you posted on social about it, so stay tuned! Of course, Writing Wednesday and Vlog Friday will continue with new challenges, activities, and so on. For the next Vlog Friday, we will be talking about setting. Books to read Being Shot by Gail Bell The Fifth Room by Allison Rushby (A. J. Rushby) Nothing is Predictable by Adalina Mae The Cobblestone Flowerpot by Troy Drayton That’s it from me. There is a lot going on at the moment but it will all be revealed soon. Remember to ignite the story and I’ll see you again soon!
