21/4/2018 0 Comments Weekly wrap-up #26 (21/4/18)Hello all and welcome to the wrap-up for the week ending 21/4/18! I know, I know. I said way back when that all wrap-ups and updates would be in video form from here on in. However, after a long time trying to work around my absolutely horrendous internet, I have had to make the decision to postpone all video content until June. Why June? That's when my internet is scheduled to be fixed and upgraded, so hopefully that means I'll have a nice speedy internet that won't take over three hours to upload a five minute video! Nonetheless, the recordings I did at Middleton are still scheduled to be uploaded before then. So, either this coming week or the week after, I will be uploading those two videos either at uni or elsewhere and then that will be it. Something to look forward too, I guess! I have 100% confirmation on some really exciting news. So, I currently work full-time on a contract away from the website and that contract was extended. Wooo! I'm super excited and happy about this. I absolutely love where I work since I get to write and edit professionally all day everyday, so knowing I'm going to be where I am for longer fills me with a lot of motivation and joy. On the studying side of things, I'm slowly but surely getting through it all. Although I'm loving everything I'm studying, I can't wait to graduate and to finally call myself a qualified journalist, professional writer and creative writer. Maybe I should start a countdown? We shall see! Anyway, enough about that. Let's get into this old-fashioned, text post wrap-up! Reviews On Tuesday, I reviewed Tomorrow, When the War Began by John Marsden. You can check it out here! Blog/Vlog Unfortunately, due to my internet struggles neither of the vlogs were uploaded. As previously mentioned, I will strive to upload those videos in the next couple of weeks when I have another source of WiFi. Then, all videos will be postponed till June. This doesn't mean I won't do any recording at all. While we wait for June to roll around, I'll be building up a whole bunch of videos that I will be able to roll out when I am able to. So, if you have anything you'd like to see, let me know in the comments or on social media and I'll start building that content! Currently reading Darkness, Be My Friend by John Marsden. I'm very close to finishing this. Once I've posted this wrap-up, I'm going to spend the rest of the afternoon finishing it off. Then, I'll be starting Burning for Revenge! What's next? Burning for Revenge The Night is for Hunting The Other Side of Dawn All of the above are part of John Marsden's Tomorrow series. I'll announce the book I'll be reading after this series next week (and I'm super excited about it too!). Achievements of the week I did not get all the content out this week (I did try really hard to). However, the review was posted AND I completed my university presentation. So, it wasn't such a bad week! My achievements should improve from here on in now that I've accepted that I can't post videos for a while. And that's it for this week. I'd like to send a big thank you to everyone who has been supporting TaleInferno even though there hasn't been a lot of content. It's really motivating and I can't thank you all enough. I've also had a few recommendations and suggestions for books to read and review come in via social media DMs, so I can't wait to start all of them! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I hope you all have fantastic weekends and that you find some time to ignite the story!
