11/5/2018 0 Comments Weekly wrap-up #28 (11/5/18)Hello all and welcome to the wrap-up for the week ending 11/5/18! I am shocked that we are already into May. Where has this year gone? Why is it going so quickly? I can't seem to keep up with it all! Before I know it I'll actually be qualified. It's such a crazy thought, but nonetheless I'm so excited to get to that part of my life. It's interesting to think about how for all this time, since the beginning of primary school to now, I've been studying (although maybe the early years of primary school wasn't exactly 'studying'). Then, by the end of this year that will all stop. It's been such a huge part of my life and I can't wait to achieve that goal and step into the next part of my life with TaleInferno by my side! It's Mother's Day this weekend, so I'd like to take a moment to say hello to all the mums out there. Being a mum is a hard yet undeniably rewarding job (from what I've heard), so it's fantastic that we get to celebrate you on this one day. However, if you're someone out there who doesn't have a mum for whatever reasons or you're not celebrating Mother's Day this weekend, I hope that you can spend this weekend doing the things that you love and be happy in doing so! Anyway, let's get into this wrap-up! Reviews The Dead of the Night by John Marsden, the second instalment in his Tomorrow series, was reviewed on Tuesday. You can read it here! Blog Earlier, I posted Interactive frames & knowledge schemas. This blog gives a brief overview about these two amazing linguistic concepts. Check it out here! Currently reading The Night is for Hunting by John Marsden What's next? The Other Side of Dawn by John Marsden. That book will mark the end of the Tomorrow series, which means it's time to announce a couple of books that will be read and reviewed in the near future. The next two will be... This Side of Paradise by F. Scott Fitzgerald The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho Stay tuned for more recommended books coming out after those two! Can't wait to get stuck into these. Achievements of the week Well, with the amount of content that came out this week it's fair to say there has been more achieved this week than the last two combined. I'm pretty happy with how everything is going so far for TaleInferno and I hope you are to! I also got the assignment that was due today in, so that's another one to cross of the list. We're nearly at the end of the first semester for this year, which means I've only got one more to go before I graduate. I'm so excited about being this close to achieving that goal, so let's hope everything goes to plan! And that's it for this week. I hope you all have amazing weekends! If you're celebrating Mother's Day, I hope you all enjoy it. If not, I hope you also enjoy your weekends just as much! And if you have time, remember to ignite the story.
